Teen Leadership

JFS Teen Leadership Programs provide local high school students with the opportunity to develop valuable leadership skills through hands-on service, learning, and advocacy. Our goal is to help teens develop the skills to move successfully, responsibility, and conscientiously into young adulthood.

Applications are now closed for the 2018-2019 school year.

Hand Up Teen Leadership

Hand Up student leaders tackle the issue of hunger by coordinating food drives and fundraisers, managing volunteers at Hand Up food distribution sites and in our food pantry, and engaging in grant writing and advocacy at the State Capitol.

Girls Give Back

Girls Give Back empowers young women in grades 9-12 to create meaningful change in the world around them. Together, we learn about gender equity and social justice, sharpen our leadership skills, and develop projects to improve our community.
