• Food Insecurity In San Diego: San Diego may be reopening, but many in our community continue to face food insecurity in alarming numbers. We will discuss how JFS is making a difference with Sasha Escue, Director of Nutritional Services.
• Serving the Jewish Community: Many Jewish members in our community cannot make ends meet and, for many, their situation is magnified by the pandemic. Carole Yellen, Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships, will share how the Center for Jewish Care is strategically addressing Jewish poverty in San Diego.
• Safe Parking: Living In Your Vehicle: Hear from our Director of Safe Parking, John Lowther, how JFS’s Safe Parking Program provides a welcoming environment for individuals and families working to lift themselves out of a difficult situation and return to stable housing.
