Emergency Food Assistance Packages are available to pick up from our main campus located at 8804 Balboa Avenue during the following times:
Monday – Thursday | 10:00am – 5:00pm
Friday | 10:00am – 4:00pm
JFS is proud to partner with the San Diego Food Bank to deliver this program which works to improve the health of low-income families by supplementing their diets with nutritious foods. The monthly menu includes a variety of canned foods, dry grains, canned proteins, and other nutritious items. Participants must be residents of San Diego County and meet the federal income guidelines provided by the USDA. No income documentation is required.

Online ordering for curbside pickup at JFS provides an opportunity for individuals and families to select from a changing list of non-perishable food items, then choose a day and time to pick up your order. When you come to collect your order, you will also select from a variety of fresh produce to supplement your order.
Our goal is to provide access to nutritious food to help support those experiencing nutrition insecurity and reduce hunger in the community. Enrollment in this service would give you access to place monthly orders for up to six months at a time with the potential opportunity for re-enrollment.
