Positive Parenting Program (PPP)

Happier families, better relationships.

Let’s take the guesswork out of parenting.

The Positive Parenting Program (PPP) helps parents in San Diego County find positive solutions to common childhood behavior issues using strategies proven by more than 35 years of research. The curriculum is based on Triple P, an evidenced-based program that has been shown to promote family harmony, reduce parent-child conflict, foster successful peer relationships, and prepare children for successful experiences at school.

Used by millions of families worldwide, PPP is for any parent looking for more effective ways to:

  • Raise happy, confident kids
  • Manage misbehavior so everyone in the family enjoys life more
  • Set rules and routines that everyone respects and follows
  • Create positive learning environments
  • Encourage behavior you like
  • Take care of yourself as a parent
  • Feel confident you’re doing the right thing

“The Positive Parenting Program is amazing. When I used to call my daughter’s name she just ignored me. Now, she listens and is excited to hear what I say. It’s like she’s a different child.”

Different Formats to Meet Your Needs

The Positive Parenting Program offers a variety of ways to learn new parenting techniques. Choose from larger public seminars, small group sessions, or individualized consultations – all led by Triple P certified parent educators.

Workshops are offered in English, Spanish, Vietnamese, and Arabic at sites across San Diego. Priority is given to low-income preschools, elementary schools, and military families. The program is free to parents, and onsite childcare can be provided at no-cost.
